Maurice is an RSA Approved Driving Instructor for both car (Category B) and bus/coach (Category D), and a Driver CPC trainer. He teaches in a fully electric automatic car across Dublin 3, 5, 9 and 11 and the surrounding areas, and prepares learners for the test at Killester and Finglas.
An electric car is about as simple as a car gets to drive. There is no clutch, no gear change and no engine to stall, and the cabin is quiet enough to talk through what is happening on the road as it happens. That leaves your attention for observation, road position and reading the road ahead.
Maurice also instructs bus and coach drivers (Category D), delivers Driver CPC training, and holds a QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer qualification. He takes learners from their first EDT lesson through to test preparation for Killester and Finglas.
