What areas of Dublin do you cover?
We have three instructors covering North Dublin, South Dublin and West Dublin. Key areas include Finglas, Swords, Santry, Tallaght, Dundrum, Stillorgan, Blanchardstown, Lucan and Dublin city centre. If you are between zones, use the booking form and select "Not sure / flexible" — we will match you to the nearest available instructor. See the full areas page.
How many lessons will I need before my driving test?
This varies for every learner. It depends on prior experience, how often you practise between lessons and your individual progress. We assess where you are at the first session and give honest feedback on readiness. Rushing to a test before you are ready costs more in the long run.
What is eco-driving and is it worth learning?
Eco-driving is about reading the road further ahead, planning your speed and using smooth, progressive inputs. It reduces fuel or electricity use, cuts brake and tyre wear and makes every journey calmer. For fleet drivers it directly reduces running costs. For everyday drivers it is simply a better, safer way to drive. Learn more about eco-driving training.
Do you offer lessons for nervous or anxious drivers?
Yes. Refresher lessons are specifically designed for drivers who have not driven for a while, who feel nervous behind the wheel or who want to rebuild confidence. Training is calm, patient and completely focused on the individual. Common areas include motorway driving, roundabouts, parking and city centre traffic.
What is the ADI Hub and who is it for?
The ADI Hub is a restricted section for approved driving instructors. It provides lesson planning resources, coaching question banks and standards check preparation materials. ADIs must register with their ADI number and are approved by Smart Driving Academy before access is granted. Visit the ADI Hub.
Can you deliver fleet training at our company premises?
Yes. Fleet training can be delivered on-site as a workshop, seminar or practical on-road coaching session. We can tailor content around your industry, vehicle type and specific risk areas. Use the booking form to describe your requirements and we will follow up with options and pricing.
Is the booking form connected to a calendar?
The booking form sends your request by email and stores it locally on your device as confirmation. We will reply to confirm your slot. The slot picker shows a rolling two-week availability window which you can refresh at any time.
